Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) Services
Cloud environments change daily, and so does their risk. Skytech Enterprise deploys and operates cloud security posture management with Microsoft Defender for Cloud to continuously detect misconfigurations, prioritize attack paths and protect workloads across Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.
CSPM at a glance
Who this is for
Cloud architects, platform teams and CISOs responsible for multi-cloud or fast-changing Azure environments.
When you need this
Multicloud sprawl, a failed configuration audit, recurring misconfigurations after an assessment, or a need for continuous compliance evidence.
Delivery model
Deployment project with optional ongoing posture management. Defender CSPM plan for advanced capabilities.
What is CSPM?
Cloud security posture management (CSPM) is the continuous, automated assessment of cloud configurations against security best practices and compliance standards. CSPM tools find issues such as public storage, unrestricted network access, missing encryption and excessive permissions, and track remediation over time. Cloud workload protection (CWPP) complements CSPM by detecting threats on running servers, containers, databases and storage.

CSPM FAQs
Answers to common CSPM questions.
What is the difference between CSPM and CWPP?
CSPM checks cloud configuration and posture. CWPP protects running workloads such as virtual machines, containers and databases from threats. Microsoft Defender for Cloud provides both.
Does CSPM work across multiple clouds?
Yes. Microsoft Defender for Cloud can connect AWS and Google Cloud accounts alongside Azure.
Is foundational CSPM free in Azure?
Foundational CSPM capabilities, including Secure Score and recommendations, are available at no extra cost. Advanced features such as attack path analysis require the Defender CSPM plan.
How is CSPM different from a cloud security assessment?
An assessment is a point-in-time expert review. CSPM is continuous automated monitoring. They work best together.
Can CSPM help with compliance?
Yes. Defender for Cloud maps recommendations to standards such as ISO 27001, NIST and CIS, providing ongoing compliance evidence.
