What are non-human and agent identities?
Non-human identities are accounts used by software rather than people: service principals, app registrations, managed identities, service accounts and API keys. AI agent identities are a growing category, used by agents to access data and take actions. Microsoft has introduced Microsoft Entra Agent ID to manage agent identities alongside other identities in Entra.
