Cloud Security Assessment Services
Skytech Enterprise reviews your Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft 365 environments for misconfigurations, excessive access, exposed services and compliance gaps, then gives you a prioritized remediation plan. A clear, independent view of cloud risk for organizations in the UAE and USA.
Cloud security assessment at a glance
Who this is for
CISOs, cloud architects and IT Directors running workloads in Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or Microsoft 365.
When you need this
An audit, insurance renewal, cloud migration, merger, or simply no independent review since the environment was built.
Delivery model
Fixed-scope, point-in-time assessment with a findings report and remediation roadmap.
What is a cloud security assessment?
A cloud security assessment is an independent review of how your cloud environments are configured and governed. It checks identity and access, network exposure, data protection, logging, workload security and compliance against benchmarks such as the CIS Benchmarks, the Microsoft cloud security benchmark and your regulatory requirements.
Under the shared responsibility model, the cloud provider secures the platform, but configuration and access are your responsibility, and misconfiguration remains a leading cause of cloud breaches.
What our cloud security assessment includes
- Identity and access – privileged roles, service principals, keys and cross-account access.
- Network exposure – public endpoints, open ports, segmentation and firewall rules.
- Data protection – storage exposure, encryption and key management.
- Logging and monitoring – coverage and retention.
- Workload security – VMs, containers, databases and PaaS services.
- Governance – landing zone design, policies and tagging, see Azure governance.
- Microsoft 365 security – tenant configuration, sharing and Secure Score.
- Compliance mapping – findings mapped to ISO 27001, SOC 2 or NIST CSF.
Our process
- Scope subscriptions, accounts and tenants.
- Collect configuration data with read-only access.
- Analyse against benchmarks and threat scenarios.
- Validate findings with your team.
- Report with a prioritized remediation roadmap.
Cloud security assessment vs CSPM
An assessment is a point-in-time expert review. Cloud security posture management (CSPM) is continuous, tool-based monitoring that detects new misconfigurations as they appear. Most organizations start with an assessment and then deploy CSPM to stay secure.

Cloud security assessment FAQs
Common questions about cloud security reviews.
Which clouds do you assess?
Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
What access do you need?
Read-only access to the environments in scope. We do not make changes during the assessment.
How long does a cloud security assessment take?
Typically 2 to 4 weeks depending on the number of subscriptions, accounts and workloads.
What is the shared responsibility model?
The cloud provider secures the underlying infrastructure, while the customer is responsible for configuring identities, access, data and workloads securely.
Is a cloud security assessment the same as cloud penetration testing?
No. An assessment reviews configuration and governance. Penetration testing actively attempts to exploit weaknesses. Both are complementary.
