Skytech Enterprise designs and maintains monitoring for your Azure workloads with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights: the right metrics, logs, dashboards and alerts so problems are detected before users notice.
Azure monitoring at a glance
Who this is for
Cloud architects and IT teams responsible for uptime and performance of Azure workloads.
When you need this
An outage happened with no early warning, alerts are noisy or missing, or there is no single view of workload health.
Delivery model
Monitoring design and configuration, with ongoing tuning. This service configures monitoring and alerts; it is not 24/7 human response.
What is Azure monitoring?
Azure monitoring uses Azure Monitor to collect metrics and logs from Azure resources, applications and operating systems, analyse them in Log Analytics, and trigger alerts and automated actions. Good monitoring tells you about failing services, capacity limits and performance problems early, with alerts routed to the right people.
Scope note: this service sets up and tunes monitoring and alerting for availability and performance. Alerts are routed to your team or to Skytech under your support agreement. Round-the-clock human monitoring of security threats is provided separately by our managed detection and response service.

Does this service include 24/7 monitoring by people?
No. This service configures and tunes monitoring and alerts. Response to alerts is covered by your support agreement. For 24/7 security monitoring, see our managed detection and response service.
What is the difference between Azure Monitor and Microsoft Sentinel?
Azure Monitor focuses on availability and performance of resources and applications. Microsoft Sentinel is a SIEM focused on security threat detection and response.
How much does Azure monitoring cost?
Costs depend mainly on log ingestion and retention. We design data collection to capture what matters while controlling cost.
Can alerts go to Microsoft Teams?
Yes. Action groups can notify Teams, email, SMS, webhooks and ticketing systems.
Do you monitor on-premises servers too?
